Free Blues Music 5/3/14

I have some links to free blues music from The Internet Archive this week.

All of these songs can be downloaded in MP3 Format or listened to right there on the page.
I am linking to a page of their music and also an individual link to a selected song.

First, in a style best described as Gospel Blues, we have Blind Willie Johnson. Thirty songs at this link. My favorite is "Trouble Will Soon Be Over".

Next, some Country Blues, we have Mississippi John Hurt. Thirty-five songs at this link. Here is his version of "John Henry".

Finally, we have some Memphis Blues, here is Memphis Minnie Collection 1 and Collection 2. Altogether 53 songs. Here is her most famous song "Bumblebee".

Not the easiest site to search, but if you spend some time at their site you can find plenty of "out of copyright" or "non-copyrighted" material there. Anything from video, audio and books.
