Free Bluegrass Music- May 18, 2014

I have some links to free bluegrass music from The Internet Archive this week.

All of these songs can be downloaded in MP3 Format or listened to right there on the page.
I am linking to a page of their music and also an individual links to selected songs

First is Bill Monroe. Here are 99 songs of his. A famous one of his is Blue Moon of Kentucky. One of my own favorites is Wayfaring Stranger

Next up is Ralph Stanley. Here are 40 of his recordings. Here are two tunes you may know from the movie "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou." We have Oh Death and Man of Constant Sorrow.  I really like the song Little Birdie.

Last we have Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs. Here are 88 of their songs. They are best known for the song The Ballad of Jed Clampett also known as the theme song to the Beverly Hillbillies. Hear they are performing Orange Blossom Special.

Not the easiest site to search, but if you spend some time at their site you can find plenty of "out of copyright" or "non-copyrighted" material there. Anything from video, audio and books.
